Privacy
Nothing you write in Plyushik leaves your phone unless you send it.
What the app stores
Plyushik has no account, no server, no sync, no analytics and makes no network requests. Your habits, check-ins, notes and photos are kept in the app's own storage on your iPhone and shared only with Plyushik's widgets. If a feature ever sends something off the phone, this page changes first.
What it does not do
Plyushik has no analytics, advertising or crash-reporting libraries and does not track you across apps or websites. We collect no data from the app, so there is nothing to sell or share.
If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your iPhone's settings, Apple may give us anonymous crash reports and usage totals. They don't tell us who you are or what you wrote.
Permissions
The camera takes a photo for a note. Choosing a photo from your library copies only the one you pick; the app never sees the rest. Photos are saved inside the app.
The microphone and speech recognition turn your voice into note text, and recognition runs on the iPhone itself. If your language can't be recognised on the phone, dictation stays off rather than sending audio to Apple.
Reminders and the weekly summary are notifications scheduled on the phone. Each permission is asked for the first time you need it, and the app works without any of them.
When data leaves the phone
Only when you send it. Export notes makes Markdown files and hands them to the share sheet, and you choose where they go. A web link in a note opens in your browser. Your iPhone's iCloud or computer backups may include Plyushik's data, under Apple's terms.
Deleting your data
Deleting a habit removes its check-ins and notes, and the photos of deleted notes are removed the next time the app opens. Deleting Plyushik removes everything it stored. There is no copy anywhere else to ask us to delete.
If you write to us
Emails to support arrive in a Proton Mail inbox. We use your address and message only to reply, keep them no longer than the conversation needs, and delete them sooner if you ask.
This website
This site is hosted by Cloudflare, which handles the basic request data any website needs to load, such as your IP address. The site sets no cookies, has no analytics and loads nothing from other services.
Children
Plyushik is not aimed at children, but because the app collects nothing, it collects nothing from children either.
Your rights
The only personal data we may hold is an email you sent us. You can ask to see it or have it deleted, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date below changes with it. A change that sends anything off your phone will be explained here before the app update that does it.
